A total of 151,107 passengers went through Syamsudin Noor Airport in the city of Banjarbaru during the homecoming and returning travel along Idul Fitri 1440 Hijriyah festivities or lebaran.


"Compared to the homebound and return passengers last year there was a decline of about 21 percent. In 2018 it reached 19,308 passengers," said Operation Manager of Syamsudin Noor Airport Rully Artha in Banjarbaru, Friday.

The number of passengers is calculated for 16 days from D-7 on May 29 to D + 7 on June 13, 2019. The number of passengers arrives 67,913 people with aircraft movements 638 times. While the departure transported 83,194 passengers with 638 aircraft movements.

The Integrated Lebaran Transportation Post in Syamsudin Noor also noted that the peak of aircraft movements in homecoming flows occurred on D-3 (June 2) as many as 91 times and backflow on D + 3 (June 9) as many as 91 times.

The peak density of homecoming passengers occurred on D-6 (May 30) with as many as 11,334 passengers and backflow on D + 3 (June 9) 12,431 passengers.
