Flowing of Eid-al-Fitr exodus at Syamsudin Noor Airport still looks quite crowded. 5,093 passengers have been recorded on the D-day.

Syamsudin Noor Airport Operations Manager Ruly Artha said there were 27 incoming aircraft brought 1,281 passengers. While those departing from Banjarmasin were 29 flights with 3,812 passengers.

"Compared to last year's Lebaran (Eid-al-Fitr) there was a decrease of 48.82% for arrivals and 37.23% for departures," Ruly said in Banjarbaru on Thursday.

Additional two flight for Banjarmasin-Surabaya, Banjarmasin to Semarang two flights and Banjarmasin-Yogyakarta one flight and vice versa, were not used by the airline because of the small number of passengers.

As for the total flights that have arrived since D-7 to Eid reached 327 times with 25,568 passengers.

While the aircraft departing from Syamsudin Noor Airport were 328 times with a total passenger of 47,725 people.

"The conclusion is going back and forth this time like in previous years, the number of passengers coming out of Banjarmasin is more than of those that come. This means many migrants work in South Kalimantan rather than the Banjars who migrate," explained Ruly.
