The auction process for the position of head of the Banjarbaru Housing and Settlement Agency was questioned because the inauguration of officials was deemed not in accordance with the commitments echoed.

One of the auction participant, Irwan Jaya, in Martapura said on Tuesday he was second in the open selection of the head office.

"We received the inauguration of the first rank participant Zabidi Anshari to become the head of the office at the end of December 2018, but the inauguration of the new one whose position was in third place," he questioned.

Zabidi's position was changed after the person has chosen to be a functional official because of illness. At the inauguration of officials in May 2019 it turned out that his position was entrusted to Muriani.

The Head of the Pollution Control Division of the Banjar District Environment Agency confirmed that he did not want to sue the mayor's decision on the inauguration, but questioned the commitment previously echoed.

"During the interview session with the mayor, he emphasized the elected officials based on the highest score and according to the merit point system," he said.

The commitment is in accordance with the ASN Law No. 5 and PP (Govt Regulation) No.11 year 2017, regarding ASN management and the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No 13 of 2017 concerning the procedure for filling in the primary high office.

Chairperson of the Committee Selection Said Abdullah stressed that anyone chosen from the three recommended participants was the authority of the mayor as head of the region.

"We recommend three names and mayors who have the prerogative rights to determine who is elected. All according to the rules, including recommendations from the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN)," he explained.

Said, who is also the City Secretary, explained that the ASN Commission did not intervene in determining one name.
