Head of Public Welfare Section H.M. Thaha here on Wednesday (15/5) said this appreciation was a form of attention given in the form of award money for students who had completed their theses and scientific papers for the completion of the final lecture.
"The award recipients are divided into three groups, namely one master's thesis with a nominal of Rp1.5 million, a 101-undergraduates thesis (Rp1 million each) and 8 people of Diploma III (Rp750 thousand each)," he said.
He explained, this year the students who were entitled to the award were those who had a minimum GPA of 3.25, an increase from last year's which was only 3.00.
HSS Regent H. Achmad Fikry, who was accompanied by Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, said what he gave today was aimed at assisting them in making theses and papers.
According to him, because the central government policy does not allow more assistance other than the poor, a format for the award submitted after the lecture is completed.
