Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - 500 school students under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affair (Kemenag) in Barito Kuala District, South Kalimantan, received the Indonesia Pintar Program (PIP) scholarship on Monday (1/29).


500 Indonesian Pintar Cards distributed to 144 state Islamic Elementary Shool (MIN) students, 116 state Islamic junior high school (MTsN) students, 23 private MTs students, 128 state Islamic high school (MAN) students, 9 private MA students, 20 ula (elementary) santri or boarding school students, 40 santri wustha (junior high), and 20 satri ulya (high school).

The symbolic hand over at the Marabahan Serbaguna Building was done by member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission XI Ir Ahmadi Noor Supit MBA, attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affair who is also Acting Inspector General of the ministry HM Nur Kholis Setiawan, member V BPK Isma Yatun, Head of Auditor V.A. BPK Ayuh Amali, Head of BPK South Kalimantan Office Tornanda Saifullah, Head of South Kalimantan Office of Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) H Noor Fahmi, Forkopimda Batola, heads of Kemenag local office throughout South Kalimantan, councils of teachers, parents and invitees.

Batola Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS thanked for the PIP scholarship assistance through the Ministry of Religious Affairs. She stated, the breakthrough of the central government is very important, of course, must get the support of all stakeholders.
