"The collapse of the dike was a week ago during heavy rains," said a resident of RT 6 Pelaihari H Rahmatullah, Tuesday (1/22).
According to him, the collapse of the siring was allegedly due to its foundation being damaged after the dredging of the river some time ago.
"It should not be exposed to the siring foundation when dredging the river to avoid of being collapsed," he said.
The river's dike, he said, had been built for a long time when Regent H Adriansyah. Its function to overcome the overflow of river water during heavy rains.
