We hope that the achievement of the Adipura trophy should not be enough to reach here, the most important thing is that it can continue to motivate all people to maintain cleanliness at least in their respective environments,Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District, South Kalimantan, Monday (14/1), again received the Adipura award from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry for the small-town category, as it was considered capable of improving the economy of the community through the use of the environment.
The Adipura Award, the sixth time achieved by HST, was handed over by Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia M Jusuf Kalla to Acting Regent H. A. Hairansyah at the Dr. Soedjarwo Auditorium, Manggala Wanabakti Building, Jakarta.
HST is still considered as a town that is always clean, green and healthy, so it becomes increasingly livable for its people and has the right to receive Adipura with 8 other districts and cities in South Kalimantan.
Previously, HST had won Adipura five times, namely in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Chairansyah admitted that he was happy with the prestigious trophy and expressed his gratitude for the good cooperation and coordination to all stakeholders in the HST Government and especially to all elements of the community in an effort to maintain cleanliness in the city of Barabai.
"We hope that the achievement of the Adipura trophy should not be enough to reach here, the most important thing is that it can continue to motivate all people to maintain cleanliness at least in their respective environments," he said.
