Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - TNI Soldier First Private (Pratu) Imbran with First Private (Pratu) Huda from 621 Manuntung Battalion introduces Yong Moodo martial arts to students at TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) locations in South Hulu Sungai District.


Pratu Imbran said Yong Moodo's martial arts came from South Korea. This sport is a combination of Yudo, Akindo, and Taekwondo. Imbran with First Private (Pratu) Huda are are members of the TMMD held by District Military Command (Kodim) of 1003 Kandangan. 

"We deliberately carried out the exercises at junior high school SMPN 4 Padang Batung, South Hulu Sungai Regency (HSS), to introduce this new martial arts technique, considering that this martial art is still not popular among the people," he said while giving information in Malilingan, Thursday (25/10).

He explained, the training is given here as well as to introduce Yong Modoo more widely to the community, especially the younger generation in school.

This martial art, because of the results of a combination of several martial arts, the movement is not too difficult to learn for beginners. They both ready to facilitate if there are people who are interested in studying.

He added the interest of the younger generation in the TMMD location to following this training is quite high. One by one his students also experienced development but he reminded that the results of the training they followed is as self-defense, exercise for health, add skills and build strong and disciplined character.
