Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tanah Laut Police arrested Jojon, resident of Sawahan Pelaihari, with evidence of 83,000 Carnophen pills to sells.
"Beside arrested Jojon as Carnophen dealer, we also secured other evidence in the form of mobile phones and money Rp2 million from the suspect," said Police Chief AKBP Sentot Adi Dharmawan in Pelaihari, Thursday.
According to him, the arrest of the suspect was done in his house, and five boxes of Carnophen found in the bathroom.
Based on the results of the examination was known then Carnophen will be sold to some sub-districts in Tanah Laut, such as Jorong, Batu Ampar, and others.
However, according to the police chief, before the drug distributed to several sub-districts, police managed to secure the suspects and evidence.
Sentot said the suspect had long been a target of Tanah Laut district police as he was earlier a crystal methamphetamine (sabu-sabu) dealer and had never been caught.
The suspect turned to Carnophen, he said, because it sales are very profitable and has consumers more than of selling crystal meth. Carnophen is types of abused medicine, the impact is like taking drugs.
Based on the recognition of the suspect, Carnophen was obtained from Banjarmasin and is currently being investigated by Tanah Laut police.
"The suspect subjected to Health Act with a penalty of five years imprisonment," he said.
