Jakarta (ANTARA) - State leaders and dignitaries began arriving in Jakarta on Saturday to attend Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka's inauguration ceremony as Indonesia's president and vice president on Sunday (October 20).
As observed through the Presidential Secretariat YouTube channel on Saturday, former German president Christian Wulff was the first state dignitary to arrive in Jakarta for the inauguration ceremony.
Wulff was welcomed by Agrarian and Spatial Affairs Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono during his arrival at Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Airfield on Friday (October 18).
Meanwhile, Russia's deputy prime minister, Denis Manturov, arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Banten, on Saturday morning. He was welcomed by Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Minister Bintang Puspayoga.
Others arriving at the airport after Manturov were Vice President of Laos, Pany Yathotou, and Vice President of Vietnam, Vo Thi Anh Xuan. Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno welcomed the two leaders.

Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah arrived in Jakarta through the Halim Airfield on Saturday and was welcomed by Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani.
More state leaders and envoys are expected to arrive in Jakarta by Saturday evening to attend the inauguration ceremony on Sunday morning.
According to Presidential Secretariat Chief Heru Budi Hartono on Friday, state guests from 20 countries, the envoy for the United Nations, and 13 special envoys representing heads of state are expected to attend the Prabowo-Gibran inauguration ceremony.
Hartono also stated that 1,100 guests are expected to attend the inauguration ceremony at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta.
