Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalimantan) - University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Banjarmasin inaugrated the establishment of pharmacy for education in Banjarbaru ULM campus.

According to the ULM Rector Prof. Sutarto Hadi, the establishment of pharmacy education to support the newly department which ULM opened, pharmacist education.

"In addition to education practice for students, this pharmacy is also open to the public," he said while inaugurating the pharmacy, Friday.

According to Sutarto, the establishment of this pharmacy is as a requisite for a major ULM has just opened. In connection with that, the inaugural lecture was also held on Friday (10/2) simultaneously.

ULM opened the pharmacist professional education program, he added, to answer still lack of appropriate, experienced and scientific human resources work at the pharmacy.

"We'll give an example, this is what the pharmacy is right, with experts HR," he said.

In addition to expert pharmacist, Sutarto revealed, ULM also will produce specialist doctors who are experts.

"Department of specialists also has been opened. This is a step forward for our campus," he explained.

According to him, ULM produced many health scholars, many of whom have devoted themselves in the local hospital, even in remote health center.

The inauguration of education pharmacy which is located opposite post-graduate ULM in Banjarbaru Friday attended by Vice Mayor Banjarbaru Darmawan Jaya and Chairman of the ULM Alumni Association (IKA) H Gusti Rusdi Effendi AR.
