Indocement in cooperation with the Kotabaru Agency of Conservation and Natural Resources (BKSDA), Bogor Insitute of Agriculture (IPB), and the Kalaweit Organization supervise and train the wild animals to be released back to nature.
During the training, the wild animals are improved their nutrient intake with qualified food and drink.
Indocement also help evacuate and rescue wild animals from the threat of trafficking.
Since 2010 IWEC visited by students, wildlife observers and students to conduct research. Until the year 2015 as many as 1,031 guests have visited IWEC.
Besides IWEC, Indocement also strive to preserve the mangrove forests in Langadai Village, Sub-district of Kelumpang Hilir, Kotabaru, since 2012.
