Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - State elementary Schools (SDN) in remote areas in Tabalong, South Kalimantan, received assistance in the form of library books from 2017 Special Allocation Fund (DAK), including funds to restore classes.
"Library book collection aid to remote areas is planned to be given to SDN 1 Dambung and SDN Kuwari in Bintang Ara Sub-district by Rp50 million each," explained Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Section of the Education Agency Zainal Dahli in Tanjung, Saturday.
Total assistance to increase the collection of library books to elementary Schools in Tabalong reached Rp1 billion and Rp2.3 billion for school physical building.
Physical assistance among are to restore classrooms for SDN Masukau Luar, Sub-district of Murung Pudak, SDN Pematang and SDN 2 Pamarangan, Sub-district of Tanjung.
Including a total restore for SDN Sei Rukam 1 in Pugaan Sub-district by Rp500 million also allocated through DAK, 2017, he said.
While for state secondary school (SMPN) infrastructure allocated Rp1.3 billion, also from DAK 2017. "Aid for SMPN are to restore classrooms, building new classrooms, including for science laboratories," said Zainal.
