"Through the program, students are expected to behave religiously and with noble character," said Sumaryanto when opening Koranic schools training for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lesson for SD.
The program itself was the idea of the head of the Education Agency in order to realize the religious Tabalong society according to the vision of the district.
One of the preparation of the implementation of this program a number of PAI teachers get provisions of the Qur'an and behavioral habituation techniques according to the teachings of Islam.
PAI Section Head of Tabalong Office the Ministry of Religious Affairs Taufik Rahman explained, teaching the Qur'an in early years of children is actually an obligation.
"Each school must have a target, for example third-grade students have graduated iqra or children skillful reading the Qur'an when graduated fom elementary school," said Taufik.
