Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Heath Office has evaluated the performance of its contract with certain agreed period (PKWT) workers and extension of work period here.
"The evaluation of performance is an important part to know the contribution and dedication of each individual in the team," said Head of Health Office Erwin Simanjuntak here, Tuesday.
He said the activity aims to maximize health services to the people of Bumi Saijaan (Kotabaru's nickname).
"This evaluation is not (only) about assessing performance, but an opportunity for us to identify the potentials that could be improved and support the development of professional in the future," he said.

He asked the health workers to continue making efforts to increase their capabilities and human resources in term of health service in their regions to keep on dedicating all their abilities to serve the public.
"We really appreciate your role of PKWT personnel have played in providing health services to the community so far," Erwin said.
Head of Health Resources of the office Akhmad Saleh added that decision will be taken base on fair and objective evaluation.
"Extension of working period for PKWTs is something that must be considered carefully, and we understand that the contribution you make in providing health services is very valuable, and we will ensure that the decision taken will be based on fair and objective evaluation," said akhmad Saleh.
