"Our athletes in diving desired to win at least two gold medals," he said in the KONI South Kalimantan Office in the complex of GOR Hasanuddin Banjarmasin on Thursday.
As evidence of the seriousness to boost the diving athletes, now their training is centered in Selangor, Malaysia up towards the National Games (PON) XIX West Java on September 17 to 29, 2016.
"There are four athletes whose training centralized in the neighboring country. We hope they get lessons and valuable experience," he said.
He admitted, South Kalimantan has a history of achievement in the sport of diving up to the international level, and the next generation should be able to take that trail.
"It's hard to be the same, but at least we try and hope this effort produces results," he said.
