"What happens next depends on SKPD (working unit)-related efforts to submit a proposal to the Directorate General of Disadvantaged Regions Development (Ditjen PDT) to be verified," said Head of HSU Development Planning Board Fajeri Rifani in Amuntai, Friday.
According to Fajeri, the assistance was directed to the development of agricultural commodities in general, industrial development and marketing, partnerships, cooperatives and SMEs, as well as development of capital and investment.
The allocation of aid among them for the procurement of medical equipment for poskesdes/poskestren with a budget ceiling of Rp1 billion, Rp400 million for development of home industries, and assistance for the development of superior products Rp2 billion.
Aid equipment and training of agricultural processing machine Rp700 million, development of pier and village market Rp1 billion each, while procurement of a television, a satellite dish and solar power modules 1.5 billion.
Cooperatives, SMEs, Trade and Industry Agency receives the mostallocation quota ceiling budget of Ditjen PDT, which is valued at Rp3.4 billion from Rp7.6 billion of the total aid.
"We have instructed the related local government offices (SKPD) to make a proposal to the Ditjen PDT that the allocation of aid to be disbursed this year," he said.
HSU is one of the districts in South Kalimantan which has no natural resources mining. Almost all parts of the district are the marshes. Most people rely of agriculture and trade.
