"The arrest of G is the result of the development of the public information, and followed-up by Pelaihari police together with Tanah Laut Satreskrim (criminal investigation) police," said Tanah Laut Police Chief AKBP Sentot Adi here, Monday.
From the arrest, police confiscated nine-millimeter caliber sig sawaeur firearms along with as many as 17 ammunitions and one magazine.
Based on his confession, G acquired firearm from S, who is currently detained in Martapura Prison in drug cases.
In following up this information, he said, Tanah Laut police team has visited Martapura Prison to get information from suspect S, and he admitted it was his firearm.
The plan, he said, after the suspect S finished serving his sentence in Martapura Prison, he will be picked by Tanah Laut police to develop the case.
Chief of Police said, from the description of S, there are still another, I and D, who are now fleeing.
