Diskominfo head Hamdani in Amuntai on Wednesday said Smart city development has already begun with the inauguration of media center by Regent HSU Abdul Wahid at the peak day of 64th of HSU anneversary in Pahlawan Field in Amuntai.
"With the existence of this media center, then the smart city program will be easier widely known to the public," said Hamdani.
Hamdani said the media center is an information tool for people which is managed by Dishubkominfo in form of TV broadcasting, websites, CCTV and other monitoring informations.
Smart city program will be implemented among them with the installation of 10 CCTV can be accessed online by community with its control center in the media center.
Diskominfo, he added, installing free wifi hotspot service at several locations in the center of Amuntai, like the Tugu Itik monument, Taman Puteri Junjung Buih, and car free day area.
"Mainly we will build network infrastructure for all government agencies so that the activities of the office using electronic systems," said Hamdani.
Based on information from Bappeda HSU, Dishubkominfo has submitted this plan after musrenbang this year with a projected budget allocation of 1.7 billion.
