Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Balangan criminal investigation unit police along with Halong and Awayan police nabbed two youngsters (popularly known as ABG) on allegation of committed murder.


"Both actors we caught thanks to information from citizens related to their hiding, and when we caught them no resistance at all," said Balangan Police Chief AKBP Sudrajad Hariwibowo Sik on Thursday.

The arrest of the two actors was done on Thursday (7/1) morning around 01.00 in Binuang Santang Village, Halong Sub-district.

Both killers were known with initials AA (16) and SD (16). When arrested, the two were resting or sleeping in their friend's house and appeared confused when the police had surrounded them.

"Finally, our investigation on the case was not in vain, because thanks to the hard work of our officers managed to catch," said police chief accompanied by Head of Criminal Police Unit AKP Bintarto Bayu Sakti.

Sudrajad said the two actors currently detained for further legal proceedings on criminal acts they did.

From the police investigation, the perpetrators murdered Anthony Setiawan and severely persecuted the victim's wife, Fitri Yasinta Lestari, because of imbittered after expelled from the victim's home.

They were expelled, because the victims often feel shame that the suspects' family often stole neighbor's rubber in plantations.

The killings was on Saturday (12/12) morning around 01.00 in the Panikin hamlet, Mayanau Village, Balangan.

Both youngsters named as suspects and charged under article 340 jo 338 jo 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code on premeditated murder with the penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
