Balangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Sluggish coal prices in the global market does have implications for the coal industry in Indonesia, not least for PT Adaro Indonesia.


Hikmatul Amin, GMR Department Head of PT Adaro Indonesia for Tabalong-Balangan, when met by AntaranewsKalsel said the company keep maintaining the production quality, although there is an adjustment to market demand. Adaro remains optimistic and set a target of production in 2016 amounted to 52.2 million tons.

"For us in terms of production there is adjustment to actual market demand. For 2016, we set a production target of 52.2 million tonnes," he said.

He explained, in the face of these circumstances, appropriate strategies is necessary, both for companies and employees. PT Adaro itself remained in the current situation.
