Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tapin District Government is getting ready to impose level 3 community activity restriction (PPKM) at the year-end as instructed by the central government.
"We are ready to prepare for whatever we have to do in the level 3 PPKM later," said the Tapin Regional Secretary H Masyraniansyah, Saturday.
He said that Tapin has just received the news that the policy will be applied throughout Indonesia and the district government will discuss it on Monday.
Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy, had said the government has decided to uniformly enforce the level 3 PPKM policy across Indonesia during Christmas and New Year.
All regions in Indonesia, even those under Level 1 and 2 PPKM status will need to apply level 3 PPKM regulations so that there is a uniform condition, according to Effendy.
The Level 3 PPKM policy will be valid from December 24 to January 2, 2021, Effendy said adding, the Minister of Home Affairs' ministerial instruction (Inmendagri) on the policy is currently awaited.

During the policy, the government prohibits civil apparatus, TNI, Polri, as well as private employees, from taking leave or taking advantage of national vacation.
Meanwhile, the health protocols, 3T (tracing, tracking, treatment) will be tightened, and accelerate the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination.
Tapin has actually just gone down from level 3 to 2 of the PPKM on November 9, 2021.
"We just wait for the directions, maybe several things tightened during the level 3 PPKM," said Chief of Tapin Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) Mahyudin.
