Balangan Police Chief AKBP Nur Khamid here on Tuesday said that 65 people in the village were exposed to COVID-19. Quick steps were taken by placing security posts to restrict the public activity.
"The PPKM is implemented even more strictly in Kapul Village, as well as mobility of people outside who passing through the village. During the tightening of micro-PPKM, basic food needs for confirmed positive residents are assisted by the government for 14 days of isolation." he pointed out.
Nur Khamid asked for the support of religious and community leaders, as well as residents, to jointly comply with the PPKM for 14 days so that residents are 100 percent safe.
Deputy Regent of Balangan Supiani assured that the government will provide the best for the residents by preparing medical personnel to always accompany the implementation of micro-PPKM.
“Today we will establish a Kapul Village post command and the system will be explained by the Task Force for acceleration handling of COVID-19 in Kapul Village,” he said.

Commander of 1001/Amuntai-Balangan Military Command Lt. Col. Inf. Ali Ahmad Satriyadi reminded residents to be more adhere to the health protocol, thus they directly participate in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in Balangan, especially in Halong Sub-district.
“I urge the public to remain disciplined. The residents or Kapul Village to restrain from doing activities outside in the hope to break the chain of COVID-19 from spreading,” he appealed.
Chairman of the Balangan Dayak Customary Council Mandan said that his party fully supports the tightening in the implementation of micro-PPKM.
The micro-PPKM, Mandan said, doest not hamper customary activities to held in the near future. Technically, the activities will refer to health protocol and the limitation of the number of people to come.
