Marabahan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The active case of COVID-19 in Barito Kuala (Batola) District, South Kalimantan, went up again on Saturday (Feb 6, 2021), following the addition of seven positive patients.
“The addition of positive confirmed patients today is seven. While two patients recovered,” said a spokesperson of Batola COVID-19 Task Force Hj Azizah Sri Widari in Marabahan.
The seven new positive patients were three from Mekarsari Sub-district and the other four were from Barambai Sub-district.
“The patients who come from contact are now undergoing isolation at home, except one patient who was previously a suspect is now being treated at H Abdul Azis Marabahan Hospital,” said Azizah.
Meanwhile, two patients recovered, she continued, came from Cerbon Sub-district, namely a woman (52 years) and a man (65 years). “The two were originally in the monitoring of Special Quarantine Team of Bapelkes Banjarbaru,” she said.
With the new cases now the total confirmed cases in Batola became 1,195 consisting of 1.047 recovered (87,62 percent), 14 died (1,17 percent), and 134 active cases (11,21 percent).
