Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Head of the Banjarmasin Civil Registry and Population Agency (Disdukcapil) Khairul Saleh said people do not need to go to the agency's office for population services.
"It enough via WhatsApp which has been prepared. Resident can send the file. If it has been processed, the documents will be delivered through postal service to the house," he said, Monday.
According to him, the agency has been developing Tuntaraidah (from Banjar language "kalau tuntung antarai dah" which means if done immediately deliver) program. Residents no longer need to go to the Disdukcapil office for population data services.
This, continued Khairul Saleh, was a service innovation developed by the agency. When the COVID-19 disaster occurs, the program is carried out to its full potential.
However, he acknowledged, not the whole services could be done through the program, especially those related with data recording.
"Indeed, everything is served, including legalization, moving letters, birth ceritficate, even KTP-el (electronic ID) and death certificate, except for one related to recording," he said.
For example, making new KTP-el must record fingerprints and eyes. The problem it has to be in direct contact the COVID-19 safety protocol should be applied.
"For face to face service, our officers must be equipped with standard PPE, this is to avoid the transmission of COVID-19 virus," explained Khairul Saleh.
However, this service is not wide open, only for those in urgent need, such as anyone should has KTP-el to go to the hospital for BPJS health.
"If it's just to have a KTP-el, when COVID-19 outbreak we ask residents to temporarily delay it," he said.
