Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - A water company owned by Banjarmasin Government PDAM Bandarmasih, invited about 200 of its potential customer and ask them to save water.
"Although considered to provide potential revenue to help the financial viability of PDAM Bandarmasih, but we still remind them to economise the water," said Director of PDAM Bandarmasih Muslih on Monday.
Among potential customers are Ulin General Hospital, hotels, restaurants, offices, home offices, and companies, as well as households that have a large payment.
So, he said , the potential customer is a customer paying bills up to Rp4 million per month, due to the large use of water. They are expected to work together to save water.
According to him , the use of clean water production for taps in excess will adversely impact the availability of water and other supplies to customers in suburban areas.
"We certainly do not just think the advantage , because water needs to be distributed evenly , " he said .
On the other hand , he said , the availability of raw water is very minimal and is now entering the standard class III , and needs to be a common concern. In order to forward availability of water for the production of taps can be maintained.
"We have also built a number of raw water reservoirs to maintain our production still continuing," he said.
To provide an understanding of the potential customers, then they were invited to a dialogue that took place at the Hotel Aria Barito on Sunday (23 /3).
