45 Bags Suspected Contain Human Flesh

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Residents of Wanaraya, Barito Kuala (Batola) District, South Kalimantan, find a basket in which there are 45 bags containing meat and bone alleged of human body. 

Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit Police of Batola Resort, AKP Andre Hutagalung, SH here on Friday said the meat was found by a farmer who was cleaning his garden. "When cleaning the garden,  he saw basket, it contains bags with meat and bone that had rotted," he said. 

After the discovery of meat on Thursday (6/2) afternoon, at around 17:00 pm in the hamlet of Babat Raya, Wanaraya village, local residents reported to the Wanaraya Sector Police. 

Police quickly responded, and the Criminal Investigation Unit immediately followed up. On Friday (7/2) morning, the meat and the bones were taken to the Hoegeng Imam Santoso Hospitals of South Kalimantan Regional Police in Banjarmasin. 

Furthermore, the bone and flesh pile taken to the forensic room to be done autopsy, so that the meat will be known wether human or animal flesh.
