Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - South Kalimantan government remove Satyalencana incentive for civil servants who get the award in accordance with the term of the 10, 20 and 30 years.
South Kalimantan Governor Rudy Ariffin after handing the bestowal of Satyalencana here on Wednesday said that under the rules of the Interior Minister it is forbidden to expend fund for Satyalencana recipient.
"So it different from previous years, when award recipients receive money according to his service period. It is eliminated this year," he said.
However, the governor added, if possible Secretary is expected to provide a memorable in no form of money.
Satyalancana in 2013 were given to 269 people, divided into of 75 recipient of 30-years term, 130 civil servant received 20 years term award and 64 others for 10 years term awards.
The governor hoped the award given to the motivation of civil servants to improve performance, promote professionalism and to be exemplary in their work environment.
