Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Regional Environmental Agency (BLHD) expects South Kalimantan provincial environmental audit by the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK-RI) immediately known.
Head of BLHD Ikhlas, said here on Thursday in connection with BPK-RI activities being auditing environment in the province consisting of 13 districts and municipalities.
"With the results of an audit of the BPK-RI it will be easier for us to perform an environmental regulation," he said on the sidelines of the exposure of 2012 - 2013 Adipura assessment for regencies and cities in South Kalimantan.
"Therefore, we hope, the audit, not only with regard to the impact of the country's financial losses, but also other aspects, such as compliance with environmental laws," he said when replying Antaranews South Kalimantan.
He said the audit will be pure from the team of BPK-RI, does not include BLHD, so the results can be more objectively, without engineering.
Previously commissioner of BPK-RI H Masykur Ali Musa said it is conducting an environmental audit in South Kalimantan.
"The audit process is quite time consuming or maybe about four months into the future, then we can know the outcome," he replied Antaranews South Kalimantan.
He added that if the results of the audit there are companies do not comply with the provisions of environmental management, like damaging the environment, BPK-RI willl recommend revocation of the company.
He explained that the audit covers several aspects, among others, "clear and clean" (CNC) as well as "green". In addition, adherence to pay taxes for companies whose activities are related to the environment.
