Two S Kalimantan Shooters to Asia

Banjarmasin, Antaranews,  South Kalimantan – The Indonesian Target Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin) will send two of its athletes, who are members of the Prima program, to the Asian Championships in China.

The two shooters, originated from Kotabaru, M Ramadani (man) and Wayne Pradheta Auliya (woman) selected by Perbakin to be prepared for the Asian championship in 14 to 22 August 2013.

Ramadani and Wayne will compete in their specialization, 10 meters Youth Air Rifle. Training camp will start on 12 July to 13 August 2013 in the Jakarta.

"We received a call from PB PERBAKIN to both athletes to participate in training camp facing the Asian Championship in China," said Darmawan Budiman, a coach.

Shooting is a potential medal for South Kalimantan in every championship, as in PON XVIII then donate one gold, four silver and three bronze. At Faroek Awang Ishak Cup II Championship with six golds, four silvers and five bronzes, which puts South Kalimantan as the Winners.

"South Kalimantan shoot coaching now rely on Russian development pattern, but the future will refer to China due to see the results of last world championships, China is able to achieve better performance," said Darmawan.
