Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Adaro Indonesia disbursed a total of IDR12.5 billion as scholarship for 128 Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Banjarmasin students whose origin in the working area of the coal mining company in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan.
"The Adaro's scholarship is good, student obtain living expense and tuition fee, also personality coaching. It will forge them to be a tough and characterized graduate," ULM Rector Prof Dr H Sutarto Hadi said.
Sutarto, who was speaking at the Indonesia Bright Future Leaders (IBFL) students debriefing in General Building Student Activity Center ULM Banjarmasin, Monday (16/9), expected the recipients of the IBFL scholarship to be part of ""Adaro Nyalakan Ilmu" program and take advantage of the oppotunity.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Board of Trustee Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) Muhammad Effendi stated that Adaro was committed to facilitate students who have enthusiasm to achieve their goals in order to embrace a brighter future.
"We thank ULM for carrying out a god selection till we get students who really deserve to be the rightful recipients of IBFL program scholarship," he pointed out.

On the occasion, three student were given a chance for a testemony. They were Muhammad Ihza Mahendra from Murung Raya District, Central Kalimantan, Arini Karima from Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, and Rida Maulida from Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan.
They said never expected to win the scholarship from the biggest coal mining company in Indonesia, while the selection process was conducted closedly no one of the prospective recipents knew.
"I was suprised I could study at ULM for free with the help of Adaro," Muhammad Ihza Mahendra, who take a law faculty, told.
