Banjarmasin, (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - Chairman of the South Kalimantan Legislative Assembly (DPRD) Nasib Alamsyah dubious to say South Kalimantan as the third most corrupt province in Indonesia, as the mass media reported on June 24, 2013.
"I'm not sure exactly, our province as the third most corrupt," he said in a discussion with journalist community of South Kalimantan DPRD, in Banjarmasin, Monday.
But the retired infantry colonel admitted, sad if it true this province is third most corrupt of 33 provinces in Indonesia (not including North Kalimantan).
A 1973 graduation of National Military Academy, which was contemporary with Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (President of Indonesia) questioned whether the third most corrupt was provincial government or whole, including districts /municipalities in South Kalimantan.
"If the third most corrupt news was real, then the local government, both provincial and district/municipalities must make improvements in order to get out of the category," said the former Military Commander of Bone, South Sulawesi.
"Conversely, if the news is not true, it may not be wrong if the local government, especially the South Kalimantan provincial government to clarify, so as not to cause negative image," he advised.
Regarding Inspection Report (LHP) of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK-RI) on 2012 Local Government Finance Report (LKPD), he stated, it is also a concern of the local assembly.
