Here, the Commander of the District Military (Dandim) Lt.Col. Inf Suhardi Aji Sriwijayanto said, the participants taught about rotary hand tractor modication. Then they directly practiced the use of the tools in light vegetation land.
"This is the third times we held the event. Previously it was held in Telaga Langsat and Kalumpang Sub-district," said the Dandim Lt.Col. Inf Suhardi Aji Sriwijayanto in Kandangan, Wednesday (11/9),
But the third training was special. It was because the field practice was attended by the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) expert staff Major General (retired) Amrin and Young Marshals (retired) Bonar with entourage.
"The rotary hand tractor works to facilitate and clean hay and grass in agriculture land so that farmers do not need to burn their land to clean their field. While the remains of the grass buried in the ground to become organic fertilizer," he explained,
BNPB expert staff Mayjen TNI (Purn) Amrin appreciated the innovation and said it was a creative breakthrough for the way out and a clever way for farmers to clean their field. Thus it works to avoid land fire. It also reduces the cost of production, so farmers income increases and indirectly the welfare of farmers, and community as well, will be better in the future.
