Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Integrated command post for Lebaran transport was opened by PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Syamsudin Noor Airport to serve for 16 days from 29 May to 13 June 2019 (D-7 - D + 7 of Eid).


The airport General Manager Noor Indah Preastuty in Banjarbaru, Tuesday, said that integrated posts is to serve safe, secure and comfortable air transport.

"The existence of integrated posts to take important steps is needed, such as coordination between officers, relevant agencies, and service providers and associations," she remarked on the sidelines of the opening of the post.

A total of 298 personnel from the Banjarbaru Police, the Martapura Military Command, the Air Force, the Port Health Office (KKP), BMKG, Basarnas, and South Kalimantan Transportation Agency are involved here.

"Hundreds of personnel are involved working with shift systems. They serve passengers and other service users, including interested parties," she said.

She said, before D-day there are extra flights at Syamsudin Noor Airport for 3 flights, as well as opening new flight routes from a number of airlines.

"Although there is a negative trend in the number of passengers in the first quarter of 2019, we still prioritize service to all service users," she said.
