The Mayor of Banjarmasin target the regency owned water company (PDAM) Bandarmasih should contribute to the city’s  revenue since the year of 2015.
“Now that PDAM Bandarmasih become and independent and healthy company, but so far --up till 2013 and 2014-- we do not burden it with this obligation,” said Mayor H Muhiddin  to journalists, Monday.
It is because that PDAM  has an obligation to pay off  big debts about 45 million rupiah. “When paid off, then it has to contribute to local revenue,” he said.
Beside its duty to pay off debts, PDAM Director H Muslih said, the company has been working out a program of accelerating network and services. One of them is to serve a low income communities./dhani
