The Governor of South Kalimantan through the Provincial Secretary (Sekda) H Abdul Haris Makkie appreciated the Balangan District in providing free health service guarantee for its residents.


The Sekda, when attending the 6th anniversary of the Balangan District, Monday (8/4), said this breakthrough has successfully provides secure to the people in the district through a free and quality of health service.

"It has been proven with the winning of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Award from the President Joko Widod in the JKN KIS (the National Health Insurance-Healthy Indonesia Card) BPJS program some time ago," he said.

Balangan Regency Government is considered fast in carrying out development in its area.

"Governance and government bureaucracy and community support that focus on regional prosperity and progress makes development in Balangan continue to grow rapidly," said the secretary.

Based on the report submitted by Regent Ansharuddin the achievement of the RPJMD ( mid-term regional development plan) until 2018 has reached 85.73 percent.

That means, with the remaining time of leadership of Regent Ansharuddin, the remaining development achievement target of 14.27 percent, will be easily completed.

Regent Balangan said, even though the target had to be achieved is a little left, he continued to commit to providing the best as much as possible for the district.

At the height of the commemoration, Regent Ansharuddin symbolically handed over Rp80 million assistance to junior and senior high school students through the Baznas program.

He also handed over Rp5 million in assistance for the Al Hasaniah Layap Paringin Islamic Boarding School Mushalla, and giving the NPC athlete Rp25 million bonus.
