PT Antang Gunung Meratus channeled its CSR in the form of a cart given to traders of lamang, typical Kandangan snacks.
So far, said Regent South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H Achmad Fikry, who attended the delivery of aid, traders put their wares on tables only. Lamang or lemang is sticky rice cake, with coconut milk and salt, cooked by putting it into a bamboo.
With the help of a cart, which is equipped with a glass display case, it is hoped it will further increase the attractiveness and selling power of lamang, and clearly the snack will be more hygienic.
In addition to lamang traders, assistance is given to fruit traders on Jalan Pangeran Antasari in the form of trade shelves.
The Regent symbolically submitted a letter of grant agreement for the assistance of the cart and trade rack.
Head of Trade Office H.M. Sufiani said the assistance provided by PT AGM amounted to seven for lamang traders and five for fruit traders.
"The total assistance is 45 out of a total of 60 carts and shelves, some of which are still under construction," he said.
