The international Quran reciter (qariah) Dina Andriani was among Antasari State Islamic University (UIN Antasari) Banjarmasin students who are carrying out community service projects (KKN) in a remote village in North Hulu Sungai (HSU) District since March 3.
Together with ten of her fellow KNNs, she enjoyed the lives of people living in swamplands in Longkong and Telaga Mas Villages, Danau Panggang Subdistrict.
"The view of the sunrise and sunset is very beautiful, unfortunately we haven't had the chance to see a swamp buffalo," Dina said in Amuntai on Tuesday.
Dina along with several other female students were invited by the Chairwoman of the HSU Family Planning Movement (PKK) Hj Anisah Rasyidah to attend the religious commemoration event at KH Idham Khalid Amuntai Hall.
The qariah was then asked to recite the Holy Qur'an.
Dina has traveled around the international Quran Recital Competition (MTQ), in Thailand in 2016 and in Malaysia in 2018. Dina was the number one winner at national level MTQ.
This girl born in Banjarmasin on July 31, 1997. She hoped before the end service period on May 02, she could see first hand the life of the HSU's germplasm, swamp buffalo.
