Deputy Regent of Tanah Laut Abdi Rahman found a surprising fact when making a sudden inspection to the community health center (puskesmas) in Batu Ampar Village, Wednesday (20/3).
He witnessed the maternal and child health room (KIA), which was supposed to have two beds, turned out to be used for immunizing children and installing implants by only being able to use one bed by unloading it.
"When providing services, you have to alternate between using beds for immunization and for family planning," he said.
Vice Regent Abdi Rahman, during a sudden inspection, admitted that he greatly appreciated the service at the Batu Ampar Community Health Center.
"Despite the limitations of health infrastructure, employees of this puskesmas can work well," he said.
Abdi Rahman added, during the sudden inspection, all the people who came to the health center were well served.
