Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor inaugurated the elected Regent and Deputy Regent of Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani and Mawardi and reminded them both to carry out development in accordance with the prevailing regulations.
"Run the development programs in accordance with the aspirations of the community and applicable regulations," said Sahbirin in the inauguration which took place at the Pancasila Mahligai Building Banjarmasin on Monday.
Anang himself was a incumbent and won the 2018 district election in pairs with the Chairperson of Golkar Tabalong Mawardi.
Sahbirin reminded the elected regional heads to continue to work and provide community service, because the position held was a mandate given by the people to aspire to advance the region.
The inauguration of the regent and deputy regent was followed by the inauguration of Chairwoman of the Tabalong The Council for National Handicrafts Indonesia (Dekranasda) Syarifah Syifa Anang Sakhfiani by the Chairperson of South Kalimantan's Dekranasda Raudhatul Jannah.
On the same occasion the governor inaugurated the Deputy Regent of Tanah Bumbu Ready Kambo.
A number of Tabalong regency officials, regional leadership coordination forums, representatives of companies operating in Tabalong and village officials packed the location of the event in Mahligai Pancasila Banjarmasin.
