Members of the 104th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) Task Force in Haruai Sub-District, Tabalong, not only focuses on physical and non-physical activities, but also supports other development sectors.
One of them is the green revolution program contained in the Regional Regulation of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Number 7/2018.
According to the Territorial Section Officer of the 1008 Tanjung Military Command (Kodim) Captain Inf Fendry, his party supported this program through tree planting activities at the TMMD location.
"We have scheduled tree planting activities at the TMMD location as a support for the green revolution program," Fendry explained.
The planting of hundreds of Kembang Tanjung, Trambesi and Mahoni seedlings is planned to be carried out at the location of the 1840 meter road construction site in Hayub Village on March 8, 2019.
Fendry said that tree planting did not only involve the task force members, but residents and students participated.
"We also invite citizens and students to participate in tree planting activities," Fendry explained.
Separately, the Head of the District Forest Management Unit of Tabalong Heryadi said that 1,200 seedlings would be distributed to support tree planting activities at the TMMD location in Hayub Village.
"Through the TMMD activities we want to invite all parties to support the green revolution movement according to the instructions of the South Kalimantan governor," he explained.
