Four schools represent the South Hulu Sungai (HSS) in the South Kalimantan Provincial Healthy School Competition (LSS), said the head of the local Education Office Nordiansyah.

The four schools are the state kindergarten TK Negeri Pembina Kandangan, the state elementary school SDN Hamalau 1, the state Islamic junior shool MTsN 10 and the state high school SMAN Daha Utara.

"LSS involves cross-agency coordination, namely the Health Office, the Education Office, the Office of Religious Affair Ministry, and the People's Welfare Office," he said, when accompanying Regent H Achmad Fikry and the Head of Health Agency Siti Zainab on Thursday (28/2).

The Regent reviewed SDN Hamalau 1 as one of the schools that will represent the district in the South Kalimantan Province LSS event in 2019.

The Regent went around while having a dialogue with the school about the obstacles faced and facilities that are still lacking and needed to be completed.

"We will try to first complete the facilities those are the focus of the assessment. It doesn't need to be too grandiose, the most important thing is that our goal to reach the standard first and all the points that become indicators of assessment to be really considered," he said.
