Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The South Kalimantan DPRD's Commission IV overseeing People's Welfare and also in charge of health will again meet the Hospital Accreditation Committee (KARS) in Jakarta.
"We are forced to go back to KARS to discuss the issue of accreditation of Ulin Hospital and Dr. Mochammad Ansari Saleh Hospital in Banjarmasin," Yazidie Fauzi SKom, Chairman of Commission IV of South Kalimantan DPRD, said here on Thursday.
Because, continued the former Chairman of the South Kalimantan KNPI who joined the National Awakening Party (PKB), the accreditation of Ulin Hospital and Ansari Saleh decreased.
"We want to ask, why is the accreditation of the two hospitals owned by the provincial government down from plenary to three-star," he said on the sidelines of a visit by members of the Banjar DPRD.
He hoped that public health services from the two provincial hospitals would not decrease, even though the accreditation had dropped.
"At the meeting with KARS, we want to get a solution so that the accreditation of Ulin Hospital and Ansari Saleh would be improved again," Yazidie added.
In South Kalimantan currently there are four hospitals owned by the Provincial Government, namely Ulin Hospital, which is the reference for the district hospitals, Dr. Ansari Saleh Hospital, Sambang Lihum Mental Hospital (RSJ) in Gambut, Banjar, and Drs H Hasan Aman Dental and Oral Pain Hospital (RSGM) Banjarmasin.
