Tanjung, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Based on the Developing village Index (IDM) it turns out that out of 121 villages in Tabalong District only six villages are classified as advanced and four villages are in the very underdeveloped category.

The Acting Head of the Village Government of the Community Empowerment and Village Government Agency Nuriadi said IDM was a composite index built on social, economic and cultural dimensions.

The six developed villages are Pasar Panas Village, Pemarangan Kiwa Village, Halong Village, Kapar Village, Muara Uya Village, and Bintang Ara Village.

"Efforts to improve village facilities and infrastructure continue to be carried out for the progress of the village," explained Nuriadi.

Meanwhile, four villages on 'Bumi Saraba Kawa' are still very underdeveloped based on the results of IDM calculations, namely Sungai Kumap Village, Murung Karangan Village, Lano Village, and Panaan Village.

Nuriadi added that through the use of village funds and ADD, it was hoped that the village would be able to advance the village who still be left behind and very lagging behind.

This year village funds for Tabalong originating from the state budget reached Rp.106.6 billion and ADD amounting to Rp104.2 billion.

Previously the village of Lano became the recipient of the most village funds reaching Rp2.2 billion and at least Rp.1.2 billion in Mahe Seberang Village.
