Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Regent Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan, Hj Noormiliyani AS said from 2008 to 2018 there had been IDR 65 billion more assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH) channeled in the district.


"In 2019, PKH assistance for Barito Kuala is IDR 12,055 billion for 9,842 beneficiary families," said Hj Noormiliyani, AS in Marabahan on Sunday.

For this reason, the regent asked the facilitators to socialize the technical instructions on the distribution of social assistance so there would be no fraud.

Separately, Head of Social Agency (Dinsos) Fuad Syekh said specifically for Tamban Subdistrict, IDR 1,514,550,000 was channeled to 1,238 beneficiary families (KPM) spread across 16 villages.

He explained, the distribution of non-cash assistance is of equal value for each regular KPM, which is Rp1,890,000 per year in four stages.

Whereas elderly or severely disabled KPMs are given assistance of Rp2 million per year in four stages through BRI Bank.

However, he explained, because there were changes, the assistance was given based on the components owned by KPM. Assistance based on these components is only given to four people in each family.

In addition to social assistance PKH refers to the number of components, said Fuad, there is also PKH assistance that remains outside the component of Rp. 550,000 per year.
