Banjarmasin - Doctor Police Team for Medicine and Health (Biddokkes) of South Kalimantan Regional Police along with Forensic Team of Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin and Hoegeng Imam Santoso Bhayangkara Tk III Hospital conducted an autopsy of a South Korean foreigner who was found dead at his residence on Monday (21/1).


"The team has carried out an autopsy and is now deepening by the investigator while awaiting laboratory results from the Anatomical and Toxicological Pathology," explained Head of South Kalimantan Police Biddokkes Sr Comr Dr. Erwin Zainul Hakim, Wednesday (1/23).

For the internal examination, said Erwin, an Anatomical Pathology examination was carried out at the Surabaya Police Forensic Laboratory, with samples of the muscle tissue of the roof of the head, spleen, kidney and skin tissue of the right hand and left neck tissue.

Also, Toxicology examination with gastric samples, liver, left and right kidney and heart.

The autopsy process was attended by the South Kalimantan General Crime Investigation Director Sr. Comr. Sofyan Hidayat. In the process discussion and reconciliation, there were also representatives from the company, the Tabalong police investigator, and Tabalong Police Health Center.

Mr. Oh Seong Seog (46), who works as Commissioning Manager of PT. Tanjung Power Indonesia, lives in the Propernas Green Village Block B6 Complex, Mabu'un Village, Murung Pudak District, Tabalong.

The body first discovered by a witness who intended to pick up the victim to get to work. But the victim found in the bathroom had died standing and on his neck wrapped around a water heater cable and a wound on his body.

The front door of the victim's house when found was locked and only the back door, which was open and there were blood spills on the floor.

The cause of the death of the victim is still being explored by the Tabalong Police.
