Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Kotabaru District Government, South Kalimantan, appreciates the contribution of the Antara National News Agency (LKBN) in its role with the regional government in synergy to fill the wheels of development in "Bumi Saijaan" (nickname of Kotabaru).
Kotabaru Regent H Sayed Jafar said on Friday, LKBN Antara had a role through its duties and functions to present true, accurate and balanced reporting to the people of South Kalimantan, especially Kotabaru.
"So far the benefits provided by Antara for the Kotabaru community have been truly felt through the presentation of development reports carried out by the government, such as improving transportation facilities," said Sayed Jafar.
The wheels of development and the progress of the Kotabaru local government in development continue to be carried out, including the opening of connections between islands in remote areas, becoming news coverage that is very beneficial to the community.
The regent acknowledged, his side had limitations in conveying information to the public, but the role of LKBN Antara through objective and balanced reporting in remote areas was very helpful for local governments in advancing their beloved Bumi Saijaan.
"We express our gratitude to Antara who is committed to presenting objective and balanced reporting on the development process in remote Kotabaru," said the regent. This, he continued, became very big support in the development of Kotabaru.
The regent hopes that other media can follow in the footsteps of LKBN Antara to be the front guard in providing positive information to the public.
