Batulicin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The state-owned seaport operator PT ASDP Batulicin Branch prepared eight ferries to serve passengers during the holidays season ahead of the new year.
PT ASDP Batulicin Branch General Manager Yudhi Yanuar through Business Manager Marsadik here Wednesday said eight ferries prepared are KMP Bamega, KMP Teluk Cendrawasih, KMP Kerapu III, KMP Gutila and KMP Awu-Awu.
"While the other three are private vessels that have been prepared, namely KMP Jembatan Nusantara, KMP Mahakam, and KMP Truno Joyo," said Marsadik.
He explained, the eight units of the vessel before being operated were checked by the Harbormaster Office and Port Authority of Kotabaru and all were declared eligible to operate.
In providing service to prospective passengers, the ASDP always prioritizes service by prioritizing passenger safety, one of which is to ensure that all types of fleets are not damaged while traveling.
One month ago all ASDP-owned vessels boarded the dock on Java Island to truly serve passengers ahead of Christmas and the end of the year.
