Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Because they are still considered to be lacking in cleanliness, Mayor H Ibnu Sina has finally come down to the field to give a warning to culinary traders along the Siring Menara Pandang attraction, Banjarmasin.


"Please clean up trash. Next week I will come here again, I don't see that there is still garbage here," he said on Sunday (12/16).

In addition to reprimanding the traders, he instructed the Satpol PP (public order) personnel to always supervise the activities along the tourist area. The reason, he saw the sidewalks, which supposed to be for pedestrians, were even filled with street vendors and lots of garbage scattered about.

The visitors were also encouraged to take care of the cleanliness of the environment. "Let's make Banjarmasin barasih wan nyaman (clean and comfortable). Let's begin from ourselves, shop but the garbage is thrown into the trash bin," he said.

Together with the environmentalists the Forum Komunitas Hijau (Green Communication Forum), he traveled along the Siring Menara Pandang. While socializing the cleanliness of the environment, they picked up trash scattered on the sidewalks of the road.

Traders who saw the presence of H Ibnu Sina, some of whom then participated in cleaning up in the area.

Meanwhile, Mayor also held a competition for all of its citizens who succeeded in photographing people who throw garbage into the river, then put it into social media, then after being selected they will get a prize.
