Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - In preparation towards piloting the centralized hajj service in South Kalimantan in 2020, the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Office of Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) is improving and renovating its office.

The new head of the office, H Saipudin told this in the handover ceremony, Friday. He said it was planned to be in 2019, but then removed to 2020 because of technical constraint.

"Insya Allah the service will be very fast, one day is complete, with professional officers and online networks directly to the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Jakarta," he said about the centralized service.

In the service, there will also be placed a bank officer in charge of the hajj so that people do not need to go back and forth to the bank and to the Kemenag office.

Meanwhile, the Acting Regent H A Chairansyah appreciates the HST' office of Ministry of Religious Affairs and the ranks that provide ease of service to the community, especially residents of HST, in the management of hajj services.

This is in line with the placement of the immigration service office in the HST for the Banua Enam (the area of six districts), so as to provide convenience for the people in managing passports and other needs in the field of immigration.

The handover ceremony was between the former head office of Kemenag HST H Fakhruddin to his successor H Saipudin. H Fakhruddin now serves as Head of Islamic Information, Zakat and Endowments of South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry.
